Moxie Fab Tuesday Trigger: Girly and Gusty

This card was inspired by the following photograph
for Moxie Fab World tuesday trigger Girly and Gusty:

This is my card. I used the pink walls and flowered carpet for top and bottom of card. The polka dots just seemed fun. The Lady is "smashing" or gusty! I noticed after the flower (organic connection) from the bottom continued on her head? Pollen?

The room in photo was so busy I found it hard to focus on design elements. Alas by making cards each week helps me discover more about card making, which i just so enjoy! What an enjoyable way to spend a summer evening!

Moxie Fab Tuesday Trigger - Luminous Layers

Please follow the fun for Tuesday Trigger at Moxie Fab LinkWorld to play Luminous Layers.

The above picture was the inspiration:

I had to really think layers..layers...I thought of cheeseburgers, lasanga why food thoughts I don't know. Then my obsession with row houses clicked... they layer through cities in varying, heights, angels, colours and cladding. I wanted colourful summer houses with a cheery sentiment. I used the bright colours from the dress in photograph for paper choices. Voila! C'est ca!

Moxie Fab Tuesday Trigger - Squares to Cherish

Follow this picture was the inspiration for this weeks challenge:
click on picture to get to challenge!

This card was fun, I was so focused on this afghan and bringing the flora from background into afghan. The little squares of afghan reminded me of little row houses on hills, especially the colourful houses in St. John's Newfoundland. Inspired I headed to my stamps for these flora houses from Crafty Individuals. The believe sentiment to remember my Aunt Reta who passed this week after a grand battle with cancer! i believe she is in heaven free from pain, dancin up a storm!

Paper: October Afternoon: Seaside : Yellow Bikini
Stamps: Crafty Individuals: Memory Lane set
